When a close friend asked me to explain what his son had signed up to on a betting app, I realised how few plain guides there were. Plain Odds started from that conversation.
Who this site is for
Plain Odds is for people who are new to betting, and for anyone trying to understand what a partner, parent or grown-up child is doing on a betting site. I explain things in everyday language, with worked examples.
How I review sites
I open a real account at every site I cover, with my own money. I test how clearly the site explains its offers and terms, how easy it is to set limits and how quickly withdrawals arrive. I only cover sites licensed by the Gambling Commission.
How the site is funded
Some links earn a commission when readers join a bookmaker. That money pays for the testing. It never decides what I recommend, and I will always point out where a site falls short.
